Dominic Fawcett
I’m an Earth observation scientist currently working at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research WSL. I use an array of different remote sensing data to study vegetation structure and function from local to global scales. My current focus lies on studying how indicators of forest health can be observed from field to satellite scale while my previous work looked at the carbon dynamics of forests in the Amazon by monitoring deforestation, degradation and regrowth processes.
